Relative Time filter/measures on a Custom Table issue 11.1.5

Can anyone verify if this is a bona fide 11.1.5 bug:
I built a simple Custom Table in Modules that is a Union of 2 underlying datasets.
On the Union I assigned one of the Date fields with a Lookup Reference to a FiscalCalendar.
Then I assigned a few Measures with a Lookup Reference to that Date field.
(I did this also on a another non-union Custom view and didn't have the following issue I'm about to describe)

When I open new Report or Dashboard, neither the Date nor the Measures have the drop-down where you should see all the Relative Time filters/measures.  >:(

However, on a regular non-Custom view, I do see the Relative Time measures.

Is this a bug in 11.1.5?  If so, does anyone know if it's fixed in 11.1.6 or 11.1.7?

Thank you!
Evan

Hi Evan,

This is an interesting one. I see the same behaviour, and it's not what I'd expect the product to do. I'm using 11.1.7. If I were you I'd log this with IBM support. It may well be a NUF (Negative Undocumented Feature) ;)

Cheers!

MF.

Hi,

According to my secret IBM insider friend, it's fixed in 11.1.7 FP2 :) I'd suggest you try this version to make sure it fixes the issue in your case.

Cheers!

That MFGF!

My secret insider friend also says this isn't an issue in 11.1.7. :)

(My work around, by the way, for R5 was to create a Dataset from the Union and then put the Relative Time capabilities on the Dataset instead of the Union.  Seems to work for now.  This anyway improves performance and our data aren't refreshed except nightly anyway.)

thanks!!
