FM Updated but now all my fields went away

I went to update some fields in FM and when I went to publish the package again, it turned by package into a data module in cognos. All the fields are gone in cognos, and when I run the report, it runs correctly with the updated package.

Basically when I edit the report there are no fields anymore, but when I run the report it runs with the updated package. Any reason why?

You can't create a module from a FM package within FM.   You can add a FM package into a module. If the FM package has DMR objects then those DMR objects are not displayed when viewed in the authoring tools. This is consistent with your picture.

I believe that you have failed to describe what has actually happened with sufficient detail.

My inital hypothesis is that you have created a module from your DMR FM package and are attempting to use it.  Your existing report is running as it is using your existing package.  If you edit the report you will be able to find the path where the package exists.

Are you sure that when you republished the package that it was republished in the correct location?
