Custom View in Transformer - Secured with AD and LDAP

I've got a strange error I am running into when accessing a Transformer Power Cube.

We have internal users who have AD accounts, External Users who have an LDAP account, and some who have both.  I have a cube that has several custom views that are mapped to users who are in AD/LDAP/Both.  The users who are in AD and AD/LDAP are able to connect and view the cube, and the security is working as expected.  The users who are only in LDAP are getting an error when they try to open the cube. I get the same error when I try to test the cube against the LDAP signons.  The cube is set to allow all namespaces.  Is there a way to get this to work with both?  I tried multiple sign ons in the cube but I don't see anything in the data source connections.

I also found this which seems to imply it's not possible, but why then does it work when a user (who has an AD account) but only logs in with LDAP gets it to work.

Securing PowerCubes
QuotePowerCubes supported by IBM Cognos software can be secured using IBM Cognos security namespaces. Security can be applied to an entire cube or to its custom views. Before accessing a cube secured against an IBM Cognos namespace, you must log on to the applicable namespace.

In production environments, IBM Cognos software supports only PowerCubes secured against a single namespace. Therefore, when you deploy PowerCubes for use in a production environment, you must select the sign on option Restrict PowerCube authentication to a single namespace

Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this?  The only thing I can think of is to create a "dummy" AD account and add it to the custom views in the cube.  I'd prefer to not do this, so open to idea's/suggestions.

Thanks in advance!
