Hi,

Financial reports are just one of many types of report that you can author with Cognos. You have full control of the layout and content in every report - right down to pixel-level positioning and sizing. You can create whatever is required to address the business requirements of each client.

It's a huge topic to cover, and way too big to describe in a forum post. I'd suggest you familiarise yourself with the Report Studio capabilities and features and you can go from there.
