Crosstab total only on certain columns

Hello,

I have a crosstab that looks like this



With the columns being related to products (Division, Section, and Type), and the lines being quantity measurements. I would like the total to be applied only on certain types of products, because one of the types is a subset of the other (ie : Sport Equipment > Tennis Balls). If I sum all the columns, then I will count Tennis Balls twice.

How would it be possible to do it ? I tried by using content definition and putting new data items into the crosstab, but it doesn't render anything and the cells just remain blank.
