Hi Guys ,

I have been using cognos for a while and I am not too good when it comes to putting report in a good User Design lookable format. Meaning placing controls in the page and resizing them or aligning controls to fit one another. I am okay with all the calculations but the main part is not sure of the autosizing and height width of the overall report .

I know it comes only by practise , but where do i start if I need to know about sizing or how it works when we add something to a table etc...

Is this the css script in html ?or where can i start of .any help is really appreciated.

Thanks,

Andrei I

The most straightforward in my opinion is to use classes (css styles) for any formatting.
Build your report layout with minimum layout objects.
Do not nest tables.
Rendering perfect outputs for different output formats ( Html vs Pdf vs Excel ) might require special processing for each format  type
