Using customised chart in a dashboard

Hi,
Upgrade to Cognos 11.1.2 included the import of a vizualisation library containing customised charts. The customised content is available when selecting the legacy visualizations when initially designing a visualization in a report.  However, they are not presented when creating a vizualisation in a dashboard - I am only offered the pre-canned Cognos versions.  Is this correct behaviour? Has this always been the case? Is the imported vizualisation content only availble with reports and excluded from dashboards?  Or is there something I need to do to make the custom content available to dashboard development?
Regards,

Hi,

This is how things have always been with visualizations in CA. The options you get in a report are much wider than in a dashboard - so that legacy reports can continue to run.

Before you lose all hope, though, there are whisperings of something in 11.1.4 that might be a game-changer for you. Or not. Only IBM can say for sure...
