Hi, we are upgrading to Cognos 11.  I see that I can set the default homepage using a Report or Dashboard for users by going to the customization area and selecting the correct option.  I did that and seems to be working fine.  The problem is, I need it to show a specific report for some users and another specific report for other users.  General and Management for instance. I found how to customize Views, but it doesn't show how to use a report for this.  Have I missed something???  I cannot find any information online or in the documentation on how to accomplish this.  In 10.2.2, we had the Portal pages where permissions could be set up.  I had one for General and one for Management.

Hi,

Just create a different role for each group of users, add the users to the role, then customize the role to define the default home page for the role.

Thanks MFGF!  That was incredibly simple! I guess I was overlooking the "Role" vs. "Group" setting every time I looked at that documentation.
