Schedule same report at 12 pm and 11pm

Hey Cognoise,

I have a report that I wish to schedule everyday at 12 pm and 11 pm. Should I set the report to run daily every 1 day with a daily frequence of 11 hours between 12 pm and 11 pm starting at 12pm or should I set it to run hourly every 11 hours ?

Try making a copy of the Report.  From the two Reports (which is actually the Report you need),
make two Scheduled sends ..
1 - Daily at 11pm
2 - Daily at 12pm.

I know this option, but was really hoping that there was another solution, since I really don't want to make an extra copy of the report.

Event studio is good for requirements like this. Have it run every hour and then in the check the hour. Alternatively you could create a report view and schedule that. Either way, it's only one report.

The options are Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, and By Trigger.  Hourly is not an option.

I think your original post answered your question, but here are the details:

Schedule: Daily
Period: Start (whenever)
Every:  1 Day(s)
Daily time interval: (check)
Repeat every:  11 Hour(s)
Between
   Start Time:  12:00 PM
   End Time:  11:30 PM


If you need more flexibility, you can create multiple report views and schedule them instead.

Just in case Cognos runs the report at 12:00:00.000 PM then tries running the report 11 hours later, sees its 11:00:00.003 PM and decides it's outside the window.
