When going to change permissions (in Cognos Connection) on a specific folder (object), I try to remove the Read permission from the authors, query users, and consumers. When I click on Ok, I receive the following error message:

The property "policies" (for an object of class "Package") is incorrect.

Detailed error:
CM-REQ-4230 Your request contains a search path that has an invalid object reference. The object "CAMID(":Planning Adminsitrators")" does not exist.

-------
Has anyone ever received such an error? Any ideas on how to resolve this issue? It is important for me to make this object (folder) in the Public Folders not viewable to certain roles.

Nevermind guys - I figured it out. It looks like due to an upgrade to Cognos 8.2 BI, a Planning Administrators role moved along. However, the role is no longer defined in the system. When I removed the role from the permissions folder, the error went away.
