(Relational)XQE-PLN-0086 The aggregate 'maximum' can not be applied on the data

Hi,
I'm working on a Crosstab. I'm getting the following error,

XQE-PLN-0086 The aggregate 'maximum' can not be applied on the data item xxxxxx' because it implies the aggregation to be occurring after the calculation of detail values of multi-facts which can lead to double counting. The aggregate 'calculated/automatic' is more appropriate in this case as it ensures that the fact values are properly aggregated before being used in other calculation operations.

The data item is a division of certain #s by other #s to come up with a Ratio of changes.

I need to change the data item to maximum so for every interactions of the left edge of the crosstab, only the sum of max value is calculated and show for each
of the Left Edge crossing.

Googling to search for this issue doesn't really help. Some are blaming it on the DQM.
