[Solved] Training Reportnet

My boss want me to become Cognos Business Expert. I know old Powerplay, now what need training? Guess it be best Reportnet but what module? Is correct to learn framework manager and can set up after new environment and build report? Can I already train version 8? Training only availabil from Cognos?

Thank you for address. But still have problems with broken links on sqlstarintl.com.

And I am unsure if Framework Manager is really the program need for making new catalogs and reports. Can not find it with Cognos.

Hi karthik,

Frameworkmanager will create models (like catalogs in Impromptu) and publish them to the Reportnet server. Reportnet has two components to design reports(Query Studio for ad-hoc reports and Report Studio for canned reports). Infact i had taken training from SQL Star International in Hyderabad and the quality of teaching and material are very good.
