Change in Configuration- Notification - SMTP mail server doesn't appear to work

Hi everyone

We are running Cognos 11.0.6 (upgrading soon) in a Windows environment.  We have separate gateway and application servers.  We have had notification working for some time (for the emailing of reports).

We are now moving from one exchange server to another and I made a change in Cognos configuration to the Notification, SMTP mail sever to reflect this.  I tested the mail server from configuration and then stopped and started the services.  Everything looks fine however when I send a report by email from within Cognos, the email message properties still shows the old exchange server.

Is anyone aware of something that I missed, or has anyone had this problem before?  Any help or advice is appreciated.  If I can't resolve it, I will open a support ticket with IBM and post back.
