Cognos 11.0.11 Lost of Folder Ownership

We upgraded to 11.0.11 a month ago.

Found out today that 3 of our Folders Lost Owner ... these 3 Folders were written by
the Owner between Jan 2017 and April 2017.

NO idea why Owner was changed to "Unknown" ... there were several other Folders
where the original Owner retains Ownership and still has Permissions.

We are leasing a SQL Server Cloud App where the Vendor is utilizing Cognos Analytics.
We had a WebEx w/ them this afternoon.  We were able to get "Ownership" again by
copying the offending Folder from "Team Content" to "My Content', renaming the Folder,
then copying it back to "Team Content".  That appears to work, but we may try "Moving"
the new Folder back to "Team Content".

We are being very careful to ensure the Reports continue working, especially those Reports
using Data Modules.

Has anyone had similar issues where "Ownership" of a Folder worked for 19-months, then
no more?

CMtools will tell you who the owner is.  I imagine that the owners are either people who have gone away or are members of a namespace which you're not logged in. 

This is actually more of a administration topic, not a reporting topic actually.

Thank you both.  This is an opportunity to learn more which is always a good thing.

We found the Folders' Owners by selecting the Folder Properties.  Only three of many Folders
somehow changed their Owner from me to Unknown.

It is not me who has left the Company as the original owner from Jan 2017.

We have a good support group at the 3rd-party vendor.  They had an Upgrade a few days
ago to their software which integrates Cognos 11.0.11 for Reporting.  Maybe that is a factor.

We will continue to discuss this w/ them.

This situation seems to only fail when copying or moving an uploaded Excel file
from "My Content" to "Team Content".  It was never a problem before.
