Morning all,

I'm pretty much convinced that the answer to this is no but I have been asked to provide a user adjustable scale interval on a series of charts (stacked bar and line).

As far as I can see we can only provide hard values or leave it to Cognos to calculate the scale.

Is anyone able to confirm what I believe to be correct or has someone managed to work some magic without the aid of the SDK though.....

Cheers

I also believe that to be correct, at least for ReportNet.
The only "magic" without SDK I can think of, which you'd only want to use for a small finite set of scale intervals, would be multiple versions of the chart turned on/off with conditional formatting.

Cheers almeids for the reply.

I've been thinking about this since i posted it earlier this morning and I've decided its probably just best left as a no go for now. Not sure if v8.3 may have some thing in it that could help? It sounds as thouigh it has some other fancy new stuff in it.

I'll avoid the multiple charts with conditional formatting simply due to the number of instances of the chart that I would require.

I'll close this topic now.

Thanks
