Error While Applying Filter In Interactive Mode.

Hi All,

Cognos Version : 11.0.6
Accessing Cognos via Citrix.

We are facing an issue while we try to filter any column in the HTML outout of the report, when the interactive mode is set to yes.

When we try to apply the filter in inteactive mode, there is a search box where we can search for specific values, the moment we type in to search for any value, we are prompted with an error which we have attached here.

Please let us know if anyone has faced such error before and if anyone has the solution for it.

If I'm not wrong..

Let me know if you have tagged or added any HTML items and Used code for Search box.

If so,the interactivity should be 'No'.

Hi Pratap,

havent used any HTML  items in the report. We avoid using JavaScripts also as they behave weired after migration.

Hi,

Do you see the same issue if not using Citrix? If not, you can narrow it down to Citrix interfering. If you still see the same issue without Citrix in the mix, I'd log it with IBM.

thanks for your response MF.

We access the Cognos environment of the client using Citrix, will have to check with them if they face the same issue when they connect to their servers directly, as we wont be able to connect to their servers without citrix.

We recently moved from 11.0.6 to 11.0.9.

My experience with 11.0.6 was that the interactive filter was very poorly done.  Anytime I tried to do an advanced filter I crashed the report.  The search and select on large tables is dreadfully slow....you could not type in a value.  If you were sitting on a column and used the simple filter features it was okay.    11.0.9 is better in that it doesn't crash the report.
