Date Format Issue (Export To Excel) Cognos 11.0.6

Hi All,

We have a column for Expiry Date which we have cast to date ---cast ([SQL1].[EXPIRATION_DATE] as date)--- and then applied Data Format as Date and in Custom MMddyyyy on the list column.


We have a value for expiration date as 1700-01-01 00:00:00 in the Netezza DB. This value is displayed as 01011700 in the HTML output, but when we export it to Excel, the value is displayed as 12303598.

Has anyone faced such issue before. Request you to share your thoughts on this.
