HI All -

1st time using Cognos Analytics against a Planning Analytics reporting cube.  I am running into a situation trying to build a Tree Prompt off of 1 of the Hierarchies defined in the cube.  My Tree prompt is always single level...  I have tried rootMembers(<hierarchy>),  members(<top level>), etc... using Hierarchy, Levels, etc...  Always get a tree prompt with 1 level... sometimes with many nodes (not desired, obviously)

It is my hope that there is a trick to getting the desired outcome... A Tree Prompt that starts with a single "All" level, that can be expanded to expose the top level of the hierarchy, and so forth.

Please advise!!!

Hi Mark,

Out of interest, do you see correct results with a generated prompt (ie define a query item in your report as [your hierarchy] -> ?Your parameter? and let the report generate the prompt automatically when you run)? How is the connection to PA defined - is it the old TM1 connection type from the Admin Console or are you using the new Planning Analytics connection in the Data Servers dialog?

Cheers!
