Abt Query Service Running Cognos V8x

Hi, Do someone have an idea on where can i locate the query service on Cognos V8x, i am new to cognos and i dont see the query service under dispatcher url, am i looking at the right place, i do see the same in V10x in the same path. Can someone please guide me

Hi,

The Query Service didn't exist in Cognos 8.x - it was introduced in Cognos 10 as the service for Dynamic Query Mode. Cognos 8 had only Compatible Query Mode (ie no DQM, therefore no Query Service).
