Multi Select when Applying Styles

Where did the Apply Styles to multiple items (using the dropper) go? I find that I have to pick up the style(s) that I want, and then click and apply them to each item one by one. This was so much easier in Cognos 10. Or am I missing something? I really want this back.

Hi,

For Styles etc., we have properties for particular object or data item etc., in the right top corner.

Click on object,go to properties pane and change as per your requirement.

I agree! I've not seen an RFE for this so I will create one when I have a chance. If anyone else knows of an existing RFE for this please post and I'll gladly vote for it.

That's not what I am talking about. You can't change multiple objects at a time using the dropped like you could in previous versions. That was a real time saver if you need to change all of the cells in a crosstab for example.

Make sure you include pasting styles to the local classes page. That was a truly infuriating find - I spent a few minutes making things look beautiful, but then couldn't paste the styles!

The RFE site allows users with an IBM ID to vote for enhancement requests (it is free and easy to get an IBM ID if you don't already have one).

RFEs are actively reviewed by product management. Voting for your favorites is a good way to have a voice in the product development process.
