Installing multiple instances of Framework on single Computer

Can some one suggest how to change to skin of the framework manager.  I have installed two instances of framework on single computer and datasource for these two instances are pointing to our production and development database. As both are identical and I don't want to be playing with the production metadata by accident.

Can some one can suggest me how to differentiate between the two difference instances of the Framework Manager on single computer.

I dont understand why you were need 2 installation of FM on a single computer? I mean, doesn't picking the project you wish at startup do this?
Or, publishing a package , by name, from inside FM accomplish a seperation between live and dev?? I dont get it.
