Hi All,

I am facing an issue while creating a new Dashboard in Cognos 11.0.9 Version:

Error:
" The Metadata for Package "XXXXX" did not load". Please Contact Administrator for Details.

Thanks & Regards

This is coming for all users or to specific users?

Check whether the users have access to the datasource (the one which is created in Cognos)

This seems to be access issue.

Press F12 in IE and on the bottom of the screen go into the console and rerun your issue... I have numerous bugs open with the dashboard tool around using Cubes. The more we log with IBM the more stable it will be (You would hope so) .The dashboard tool (v9) is not fit for purpose in its current state.
Try to reproduce with Go sales if that's possible. (v10 bug fix will be out very soon.) - Please log with IBM , it will help reduce the pain for the rest of us. They can help try and capture the issue.

For my Bug with the cube I have some thing like this when pressing f12 - in the errors section...

"at Anonymous function (http://xxxxxxxxx/ibmcognos/bi/js/dashboard-analytics/liveWidgetBundle.js?v=11.0.9:33:2576) An error occured while re-rendering

"at Anonymous function (http://xxxxxxxx /ibmcognos/bi/js/dashboard-analytics/liveWidgetBundle.js?v=11.0.9:33:9852) An error occured while waiting for the data to be ready"

On the warning section -
" Missing translation for key: "memberCalculationActionText"    "

My Cube/FM Model Works fine in Report Studio, Analysis Studio and Workspace Advanced... Use with the dashboard tool and it spectacular fails when drilling down or up ... IBM logged as a bug and with development to fix.

My issues are not written to any log files anywhere , even with logging on full (temporary)  they presentation /java based issues, hence why using the f12 option can help when sending errors to IBM

Hi all,

Any news about this?
I'm facing this issue with a DMR model, but not in a full mode. Sometimes it works fine but others retrives the error. Both admin and business users are facing the issue, and only occurs in production environment (fantastic!!).

In my browser logs I see that specific warning "Missing translation for key: "error"" but also an:  "Time out error", "Cannot read property 'loadFromModuleId' of undefined".

Not sure what is going on with this cognos analytics version, but it has been a nightmare.  :o

Thanks in advance.

What version are you using? 11.0.12? An earlier one?

I think there were some issues in earlier builds that IBM have ironed out. Might be worth trying the latest build to see if it fixes your issue?

Cheers!
