How do I unfilter a filtered visualization in an active report?

I have two visualizations on an active report- a pie and a chart.  Clicking the pie filters the bar accordingly.

The issue is that once the bar is filtered, I'm unable to unfilter it to view all values (the pie always shows all values, simply highlights the slice when you click).

How do I "unfilter" the bar to view it for all pie values again?

Hi,

You could add an option to the pie chart to set the variable to empty? Use the Interactive Behavior button to define this. Alternatively you could add a button to the page and have this unset the variable.

Cheers!

Hi MF,

I was able to add a button, and set to empty.  However, I'm unable to "You could add an option to the pie chart to set the variable to empty? Use the Interactive Behavior button to define this.".  How would you go about doing this?

Also, with the button it is intuitive that clicking the button will reset it.  In the other option mentioned above, where would you be clicking to reset the values?

Thanks!

Hi,

You can use the Interactive Behavior option for the pie chart to control what variable(s) it sets and responds to. If you wanted to be able to click on the pie and have it unset a specific variable, just add this into the Set Variable Values section on the left.

Cheers!

Thanks! I think the most intuitive approach for the end-user will be the button (w/ some type of "reset" label), so I'll move forward with that.
