Hi team,

My overall objective is to track the number of people who have opened the mail which is triggered through Cognos Analytics. Is there any way through which we can track this thing in Cognos?

Hi,

Once an email has been sent, it is outside of the Cognos architecture and out of the control of anything Cognos-owned. If the email contains just a URL that links the user back to Cognos, you could track the user logging in after they follow this link, but you wouldn't be able to detect if they just opened an email. You would need to define some sort of rule on your email server for this.

Cheers!

MF.
