FM join/merge multiple packages

hi,

Currently there's a request to join/merge multiple packages into one.
Right now, we have Package A, Package B, Package c and Package D.
The plan is to consolidate them preserving each package structure and also providing relationships between them.
So the output is Package (Consolidated) that includes separate namespaces for the packages A,B,C and D.

First of, we want to know if this is advisable or not. I also want to understand the pros/cons of doing this.
I know creating the relationship between the packages will be tedious.

Let me know if any had experience doing such.
