Cognos 11.0.9 Planning Analytics 11.0.3.1009-0 issues setting up a datasource

Having issues setting a datasource connection through to PA. This is on our test server after upgrading. PA (no PAW) is working fine, TM1Web is green. CA r9 is working fine.

When creating a new datasource and selecting Planning Analytics with or with out SSL checked i'm getting zero screen feedback to an unsuccessful connection. Tried all the combinations of security, have also copied the SSL certificate and registered it within CA.

The error in the logs is as follows.

QFS-ERR-0138 The data source 'TMR' is not supported by any provider.

Also tried the servername and the ip address unsuccessfully.

Anyone else come across this ?

Fixed. Rookie error, hanging head in shame. Needs to be a httpportnumber= added to the tm1s.cfg file and then use the same one in the datasource connection for tm1 within Cognos.

Use netstat -ano |find /i "listening" to get your server ports that are open
