Hi all,

I need to count the number of objects (reports, analysis, alert, etc..) for each folders (and each subfolder) in Public Folder?
Can you advice me how this task can be performed automatically?
Thanks in advance

You may need to have a look on CM utility tool. Refer below link to check if u can achieve. At the end of the article they gave another link to download this tool.

Just one precaution if u r trying this in production env....try to use it in off hrs as it is going to querying ur content store.
Thanks

Hello,

Metamanager's content store documenter and content store size modules are designed to provide this exact report as a Microsoft excel document. In content store documenter you can select a user or all of the users in the system and then choose to document object stats. This's will tell you what types of objects and how many are in the users my folders. Content store size will allow you to drill down a pie chart to find where all of your space is being used. This way you can determine if you have a few users that are responsible for the majority of the content store.

Check out both modules by downloading the trial version of metamanager here:

Thanks
Andy.

Are there any steps as to how to accomplish this goal in meta manager?  Trying to obtain the same information for all user's "My Folders" as well.  I have run the report in Meta Manager but do not appear to be retrieving the correct results

I've never used metamanager, but you should be able to query the database using a recursive common table expression.
