Need to Freeze the List Column Headings and Crosstab Column Headings

When I use default functionality of Freezing Columns For List & Crosstab, the data container automatically re-size to a fixed height. I tried specifying the List / Crosstab height but it didn't work.

Also, for List when I freeze List Columns Headers -  I could not able to see List Page Headers when I scroll down, only List Columns Titles are shown.

Can you please suggest me how to freeze the columns for List & Crosstab for required height.
