XQE-PLN-0229 Error in Cognos report

Hi All,

We are using a DQM enabled data source connection in our Cognos Framework Manager (Version 11) which points to Netezza. When we are trying to make a report by referring to the query items from different query subjects, we receive the below error.

We also went through the below link to search for the error code, but were not pretty clear about it.

Does this error occur due to the DQM enabled data source connection ? Also what would be the impact if we do not create a DQM enabled data source ?

Hi,

This is essentially caused where Cognos thinks the report you are asking for doesn't make sense. Can you elaborate on how the report could deliver items from two different dimensions but with no facts? Either the requirement needs further investigation, or else the model is incorrect and is treating a fact query subject as a dimension maybe?

Switching to CQM here might give you a result, but it will probably be of no value? Can you explain what you are trying to achieve?
