Stitching acting differently than expected for full outer join

I have an invoice fact and a budget fact which share some dimensions. When I make a list in Report Studio with the measures and attributes from a shared dimension, all is OK. When I start to join non-shared dimensions, I don't get the full outer join behaviour I expect. I would think a carthesian product would be the result with all possible values from both sides for each combination of the shared attributes values. What am I missing here?

Hi,

When you bring in attributes from both conformed and non-conformed dimensions along with your facts, you should still get a stitch query using a full outer join. Are you saying this doesn't happen? I'd expect to see the grouping vary on each side of the full outer join, but there should be no double-counting of measures. Can you provide more details about what you're seeing vs what you think you should see?

MF.

I've been abroad for some weeks. I am unsure which report this is about, if it's still an issue. When I run into it, I will give more detail.
