Does Cognos IDE offer a Batch mode for running a report?

Hi,

  I was wondering without using the schedule option of a report in Cognos, is there a way from the IDE to run the report in the background(Batch mode) and deliver the results as an Excel attachment?

Hi,
Yes, you can run the reports in background by placing multiple reports/reportviews in a Job and in excel format. You can send each report to a separate email or you can send all the reports in a job to multiple emails.
