Must needed softwares for Cognos ?

hello all,

my IT team (in process of removing all unwanted softwares form servers for security reasons) wanted to know all  sort of softwares  Cognos need for proper running.

Can you one help me on  this.

exampe : software such as MS Office, java runtimes, Flash etc.

Operating system, web server, database connectors.

Cognos comes with Java, which is usually sufficient. Flash is being deprecated by all major browsers. Office shouldn't be installed on a server to begin with.
