Progressive Chart - bars and measures assistance (SOLVED)

Hi

I am looking for a bit of assistance in build a waterfall chart.

I've selected the "progressive" chart object to help me achieve this.

The further left bar needs to show the "Actual Product Revenue" and the farthest right bar needs to show the "Budgeted Product Revenue". There are three bars between which are representative of the three product types, but here, I need to show the variance of [Actual]-[Budget].

I've created a data item to be the variance and so this would become the y-axis in my chart, but how do I simultaneously bring the total value for the first bar given that it's measure needs to be the total revenue and not the variance?

Since I am working with TM1 cubes is the best approach to use tuples for the bars (x-axis)?

Hopefully the addition of the first bar plus the variances, will then provide me the far right bar for my "Budgeted Product Revenue".

Finally, I've looked for a decent explanation without success, but what is the "Series (matrix rows)" in the chart ?

Any help would be greatly received.

Hi Guys

Just to follow-up, I resolved this yesterday, by using tuples for each of the bars I needed.

The first bar, simply tupled the actuals and the revenue measure, the remainder were tuples for the actuals minus the tuples for the budgeted categories. The total bar correctly summed the columns to give me the budget. I renamed the total bar to "bud" and the report was complete.

I set the "Series (matrix rows)" to be the same as the y-axis measure.

Works very sweet now.
