IE 9 does not display Welcome Page for 11.0.3, 11.0.4 or 11.0.6

Hi folks,

I'm using IE9 (I've tried with and without add-ons, safe mode, 32-bit etc.).

I've tried this with Cognos 11.0.3, 11.0.4 and 11.0.6, all configured to use SSO. They all work in Firefox and Chrome, but return a pop-up for the login followed by a blank page in IE. The results are the same whether I use the gateway or the dispatcher.

My IE settings should be standard (the gateway and dispatcher are in trusted sites, with META REFRESH enabled, pop-up blocker disabled, the Active X controls with as many permissions as possible and clipboard gets full access), and I've cleared my temporary internet files in countless times.

I've tried restoring the settings to default and re-tooling, uninstalling and reinstalling, upgrading, downgrading, all to no avail.

I strongly prefer to use IE for development, so that I can leverage the clipboard. Is there a setting I'm missing, or some that I could start fresh with IE?

Is there any particular reason you want use IE9?   Microsoft does not support it anymore.  It only supports IE11, and that's the last version of IE that they'll have; you'll have to deal with Edge from then on.

IBM says that the only version of IE that is compatible with CA is IE11.
