Hi,

I'm testing V11 and have just run a report to output in Excel for the first time.  There is, however, an extra row in the header with a '1' in the top-left cell.  Can this be removed?

Also, when output the report in HTML I don't seem to have the option to convert to pdf, excel, etc as in V10 and previous.

Thanks in advance,

Rich

Hello NiceCube
Could you please attach the report definition or an image to get an idea of what you see?

About exporting data to different formats, there is a top menu with an icon similar to "play" which contains a list of all different formats you can export the report to.
Let me know if you still have issues finding it

Thanks and happy reporting!

Hi rteruyas,

Thanks for the tip on the play-style button.  What I meant to say (but explained badly) is that when a report is run on V10 (or earlier) in HTML format there's an option to then download the report in other formats.  It's not a deal breaker because, as you say, the output format is normally chosen before the report is run.

As to my other question, I've attached the report design.  The next post will show the Excel output.

Thanks,

Rich

Maybe it's just page number in "Layout Calculation" in your header? Have you tried to export blank report to excel? You have same look?

NiceCube

Hi Manias - I've just tried that, with the same result; cell A1 contains a '1'.  The default blank report has no header thus, sadly, it's not that.

I've just looked at this again - it only happens when a report is run from design view.
Can anyone provide any further insight?

Thanks,

Rich

I'm having the same problem. a 1 appears on the top row of the excel output. It is in a merged cell that spans the entire excel output horizontally.
This seems to be a new thing with 11.06. I never encountered it in 10.2.

Hi - it seems this only happens when the report is run from design view.  When the report is run direct from the Analytics GUI the extra row is not shown.

Thanks,

Rich
