Add Footer and Header to a Report

Hi all,

i created a simple report without choosing a template.
Now I'd like add an header and a footer in this report but I don't find the functionality!!
I read https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSEP7J_11.0.0/com.ibm.swg.ba.cognos.ug_cr_rptstd.doc/c_cr_rptstd_intrd_user_interface.html but...where is Visual Aids Icon?
I'm using CA 11.0.6

Another (off topic) question: If I create a report without a specific template, can I add later the template to a report? Moreover, If I create a report with a particular template, can I change template later?

Click on the "More" three-dot ellipses from any menu and select the options for Headers & footers. There is a Visual Aids menu also found on that "More" menu, but I don't see an icon with it, although I am on 11.0.5.

If I start with a blank report and then want to use a template, I just create a new report with the template I want and then copy it over into the report already in progress. Then I can drag and drop things around to arrange them. Same applies if I've started with a template and change my mind later.

Hi,

Select the ellipsis (three dots) at the end of the interactive toolbar. Point to "Headers & footers" and you can then add Page Header/Footer from there.

great! thanks! I considered only three dots in the upper bar (at the left to the user options)
