Hello BI Gurus,

Our business folks love using Google Chrome over IE and would like to open Query Studio and Analysis Studio using Google Chrome. I been trying to use Postman Interceptor as explained in the link below but no luck. I keep on getting 'Forbidden' message.

http://textlab.io/doc/9121928/how-to-access-analysis-studio--query-studio-and-event-studio

Has anybody done this successfully?

Thanks in advance!

Kiran P

I tried but couldn't get it to work too.

I'm puzzled why you'd want your users to use an unsupported browser for this. Isn't it a recipe for disaster? Even if you do fudge things somehow and get AS and QS to work in Chrome, what happens when a user hits a problem? You can't go to IBM support for help, and whoever told the user they could use Chrome would then be under a very bright spotlight, with massive pressure for them to lash together a solution.

Honestly, my advice is don't go there!

I'm with MFGF.

Or as I am fond of saying... Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

They really should be trying to move away from AS and QS. They are legacy products and will be deprecated as soon as IBM determines they have implemented all of their functionality into CA. When that will be who knows for sure, but I believe IBM has said AS/QS are only going to be around for a short while. I am quite certain there will be no further development on them.
