Connection signon information not saving down

Hi guys, not sure if this has been asked before (search didn't return anything) which is a pretty weird. We have added a source connection to Cognos 10.2.2 (latest FP applied also) but the signon information seems to be the issue. The connection saves down (Oracle) and we are able to test it via Cognos admin without any issues but when you run a report and select the source it request sign on information (if entered manually which is same as what has been configured at the connection level the report runs successfully(.

Any ideas are welcome, we've tried bouncing the dispatcher just in case that may be causing it, also there are very similar connection in place with the same setting (just different credentials) but they work as normal.
