Invalid metadata response

Hi,

I'm currently testing Cognos Analytics, before a move from v10.2.1.  When I create a new report, add a package and select a query I get a message 'Invalid metadata response'.  This only seems to happen with one of the queries.  A package from the same framework in v10 works fine with reporting in V10.

Has anyone else come across this?

Thanks in advance,

Rich

Hmmm. Odd. Is this a single server instance or do you have multiple CA servers in the instance? What sort of data/package are you using? Have you checked that the version of FM you are using corresponds with the version of the CA server?

Just some random thoughts...

It's a single server instance.  The back end is a sql server 2012 relational db.  Actually there are two queries affected.

I'll take a look at the log file to see if it provides further insight.

Thanks,

Rich

Thanks bus_pass_man.

The problem seems to emanate from the framework, and one particular determinant (which is needed, from a granularity perspective).  I've passed the problem to our vendor's support team.
