Calculated measure in conjunction w/ calculated category returning wrong result

Hello,

I have a slight dilemma in regards to the sequence of calculations being performed within Transformer, returning the wrong results.  I have been searching, albeit unsuccessfully, to locate a fix.  I have created a Month Fiscal YTD calculated category in the special categories in Transformer.  It appears like the following:

April = April
May = April + May
June = April + May + June
Etc...

This allows the end user to view, via a crosstab in Analysis Studio, years by fiscal months to date.  It is not done with relative time to allow the ability to slice by multiple years.  Everything works great for regular measures but with a calculated measure, the output is not as expected. In the following example, weighted case will have a value of 2 and cases, value of 1, for each individual month.  The columns will display the fiscal year to date measures:

           Apr FYTD   May FYTD    Jun FYTD etc...
Weighted Case 2 4 6 (Measure)
Cases 1 2 3 (Measure)
Avg Weighted Case 2 4 6 (Calculated measure of Weighted Case/Cases, wrong result)
Weighted Case/Cases 2 2 2 (Calculation created in Analysis Studio = correct output)

Please excuse the use of code, newbie here...it was the only option that retained formatting  :P

Cognos appears to be performing the calculated measure prior to the calculated category, returning the wrong results.  I would like the sequence of events to be reversed. I have taught the end user how to create the calculation in Analysis Studio but due to frequency of use, would love to provide them with the calculated measure.  I will continue to look for solutions and try different things in the meantime but any insight into this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Erika

Hi Erika,

I am having the exact same issue, did you ever solve it?

Thanks,
