All,

Can you someone help to resolve the issue.

When I am trying to publish the package, I am getting below error.

Error:

BMT-MDC-0001 Unable to publish.
CCL-BIT-0006 The connection closed before the request is processed. If you are using WebSphere Application Server, to reduce the frequency of this error, increase the Persistent Timeout parameter for the Web container transport chains in the administrative console. Increase the time in 10-15 second intervals until the error no longer or rarely occurs.

Appreciate your kind support.

Thanks
Uma

I have merged these to one thread as they are clearly related to the same problem. Please do not make muliple posts like this.

Have you tried what was suggested in the error message, i.e. increasing the timeout?

Thanks bdbits for merging both issues.

I have tried but it is not working for me. I have raised a PMR ticket to Cognos support team.

Once I get the update from support will update here.

Thank you!.

I would start with checking FM Cognos Configuration. We had recently applied SSL throughout our Cognos install, but the Dispatcher URI was set to http. Configuration would fail on crypto keys step, but FM would still start up. Once I changed to https, I was able to publish out of FM without receiving the error.
