Set sort in query and viewer is corret by sort is incorret in excel

Set the sort in the query using the sort functions from Report Studio. When I output to excel the sort is incorrect. This will be a scheduled report so not sure if I can use the parameters functions.

Hi,
Setting up the sort on a data item in a query should work in any format or with scheduled reports. Can you try this on a sample report or share a sample xml to look into?
Are you using the data item that was sorted on the layout.
