Interactive behavior on singleton

Kind of an odd question.  I have an active report which contains a singleton, which contains a text item (profit amount).  Is there a way to setup connectivity/interactive behavior  between a data drop down object and the singleton/text item?  So, when the item in the drop down changes, the text could change, much like I have setup with the other RAVE visualizations.  Running Cognos 11 by the way.

Use a repeater table instead of a singleton.  :)

I Believe in Singleton you are using the column which the values are coming from Database.

Steps

1) In singleton (extra categories), can you drag the column which is used in Drop down.
2) Now you can setup a New connection / Interaction behavior between Dropdown & Singleton
