Use EventStudio to monitor completion of schedule

Hi everyone,

I've got a requirement to setup an EventStudio agent that monitors a Planning Macro job and sends an e-mail out when the job completes. I have setup an agent that runs a few minutes after the job finishes and monitors the Audit database for the job name and the status of "Success" but that isn't ideal, as it's scheduled to run at a set time, not when the job completes, which could be any time.

How would I go about amending the agent so that it ONLY runs once the Planning Macro job has completed? What should I be monitoring to ensure this happens?

Hi everyone,

So I've currently got an EventStudio agent setup that sends out an e-mail when a Planning Macro runs, which is all good. However, is there a way of updating it so that it sends out an e-mail if the macro has been running for (e.g.) an hour without completing? Is there a particular entry that I should be monitoring in the Audit package (or elsewhere) that would be able to do this?
