Hi Gurus,

Is there anyways we can customize the legends in Cognos Analytics ? When we use visualizations (heatmap/tree map by value) is there any way of getting the legends as in the attached format. The attached Legend sample is displayed in Tableau, would it be possible for us to implement the same in Cognos ?

Regards

Is this a report or a dashboard? As you mention Tableau (and the fact they can't do 90% of the things a report can do in Cognos) I'd assume a dashboard, but can you clarify?

Hi MFGF,

Thanks for your response. Its a report in Cognos Analytics. Have used Heatmap/Treemap by value visualizations in the report for which want to display the legends in that fashion.

If it's in a report, you can turn off the default legend and add your own table/text/colours alongside the visualization to act as the legend, making it look however you want it to look. It can be sized and scaled and positioned wherever you choose - something Tableau can't do.

Cheers!
