OPENING SAVED EVENT IN EVENT STUDIO DISPLAYS "EVENT: NONE"

Hi All,

When I create a new Event studio job and tasks everything works when I'm testing. After saving and closing and going back in the Event studio the event box reads "none". I think this error is causing my event studio jobs to fail.

I found this IBM link (http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1PI63148) but I can't seem to get the document to open. It just redirects me after clicking on it.

Does anybody else have an idea on this error or can you load that IBM document?

Thanks

MFGF

Hi,

It should take you to a signon page where you need to enter your IBM ID and log in?

Assuming you did this, it then takes you to a page detailing an open APAR (ie a currently outstanding defect). The defect is as you describe - when you open a saved event, it shows "Event: none" in the event section. If you then select "Schedule the agent" and define or modify the schedule, the schedule will not be saved.

The workaround is to select the drop-down next to "Event:" and select the event that you defined.

Cheers!

Thanks!

I'll have to talk with my IBM contact to get that info.

Is there anything in the article about event studio jobs failing because of the bug? And any ETA on a fix?

Hi,

No and no. :)

Are you sure your jobs are failing because of the Event: None issue, or is it because your schedule hasn't been defined properly? The article seems to imply the latter?
