IBM Cognos Map Manager problem

Hello,

I have a .tab file and I've saved it as .gst to be imported in IBM Cognos Map manager.

But I found no option to import from .gst as in the doc., It allow to import from .xml only. and When I convert the .tab file to xml it fail to be imported !

Is there a clear documentation about how to import map from .tab file ?

Hi,

You need to manually author an XML file that describes the tab file or files to be imported. Take a look at the Map Manager User Guide, page 12:

There's also a sample xml file you can take and adapt - sampleMap.xml
