Page Design / Page Structure options greyed out in RS

Cognos 10.2.1 FP5 with Netezza

We did a deployment of 40 reports and the associated packages this weekend, along with many DB structural changes. We have a lot of reports which now don't run (don't validate) and we're investigating why.

But I've noticed one small thing in RS for which I have no explanation. Under View, the options Page Design & Page Structure are greyed out. Same for the corresponding options in the Find dialogue. When I go back to our Dev environment from which the deployment was taken (yes, we skipped UAT :-[ ), the options are there.

Does anyone have an explanation for this?

Later these options became available again. I had, for other reasons, cleared my browser cache in the meantime. Don't know if this was what solved the problem.
