Hi experts,

I am working on Cognos report studio 10.2 and the datasource is TM1 cube.

I am developing a very simple list/ crosstab report wherein I have to just drag and drop certain levels from the Dimensions.
But as soon as I drag any of the attributes to the report page and run it, it gives me blank values only for the attribute columns.
I checked we have data for those attributes in the cube.

Can't we directly drag n drop the attributes to the report page in report studio.
If not, is there any other way to include them in the report.

Thanks a lot in advance.

I am hoping others can chime in but I have never been able to drag and drop attributes directly to the report.

I drag a member (or calculated member into the report, sometimes several times) and then go into Properties>Text Source> Change from Your Specific Member Name to the Attribute (which needs to be in the query already).

So in theory you might have a crosstab with 3 rows of the same member, but each column has a text source from a different attribute.

Thank you for the reply,

Actually there were several levels defined under 1 dimension in the Model .
So when I pulled in the attribute from the last level L5 , it showed me the required values on the report page.

Maybe thats been my problem---all our attributes are housed at the first level of the hierarchy not the lowest levels.
