Refresh external data automatically

Dear all,

I´ve created a report in Report Studio with external data.
- My external data file is a test.xlsx (Excilfile)
- The storage location is a path on the Share Drive (CM and Report Server has access to this file)

If I upload the file everything works fine.
I also enable the check box "Allow the server to automatically load the file" but this don´t work for me.
Is it also strange if I open the dialog for the external file there is no path in the external data file:


Currently I have to upload every time the File again to get the updated data records from the external excel file.
Is there any oppurtunity to refresh the data automatically ?

have you scheduled the report to run on a particular time (after the external file is updated)?

Do you reference the file with a full UNC path?
